How to get here

You have to take Superhighway 75 north via Gainesville and Ocala to reach the area. You have to travel about Thirteen miles north of Gainesville and take the Alachua exit (Exit 399). From there, you have to take North of US-441, which is approximately five miles away from the town of High Spring. Then, at the first stoplight in High Spring, turn left onto the 24/41 National Road. Afterward, continue to the next stoplight located at the center of town and head for about one-half mile on the main Street to 340/Northeast 182nd Avenue, County Road. Then, turn right on to 340 County Road and head west about 6.5 miles until you reach the sign indicating that you could turn off Northeast 60th Avenue. Then, you could turn right at the sign-in on Northeast 60th Avenue. And you could head on for a mile further until you reach the entrance of Ginnie Spring Outdoors.

How to get here

These are some of the possible routes you could take to reach the featured forest.

From Ernest F. Coe, you have to take the Fl Turnpike south of Route 821 south until you merge with US 1 at Florida City. You could then turn to Palm Drive at the first traffic light or the National Road 9336/Southwest 344 Street. And you could follow all the signs to enter the forest.

From the Gulf Coast Visitor Center, you have to take National Road 29, exit 80. Then you could turn south and travel for about 20 miles to Everglades City. Once you reach Everglades City, you could follow the signs to enter the forest. The Visitor Center of the Gulf Coast is on the right.
