In this Campground, they allowed pets, including dogs, because they had enough space. You could do vampires, but you have to ask for a permit in a ranger station free of charge. You have taken the United States Highway 395 to 203. You may head westbound to Pond Town.
Afterward, you have to drive for about six miles, and you could turn right at Minaret Road. Follow the signs of Mountain Ski sites up to Devil’s Postpile. Then go five miles uphill the Minaret Road to reach the Mountain Main Lodge and keep straight up the hill toward the Minaret Summit or Devil’s Postpile entrance station.
You have to show your appointment pass at the site entrance to allow you to go. Then, head to the Agnew Fields Pack Station, which you have to turn off two miles. Continue driving down the road for another six miles and past the Devil’s Postpile State Monument because the Red Field is one mile apart from it. It takes 45 minutes to go to Red Field.
